      • Jim was not available, so documentation was not discussed
      • Pasi did not have information about documentation artwork yet (depends on the documentation software used)
      • ACT: Jim is investigating the documentation stuff with Jannis

    • Shipping Xubuntu CDs
      • For now, if somebody asks for a CD, point them to ask their LoCo or send one yourself.

  • Progress on notify-osd integration and current critical issues
    • Steve needs help from the official developers (Cody, Lionel)
      • Sponsor the notify-osd-xfce -package
    • If you see long and hard to read notifications, file a bug and poke Steve
  • Karmic Artwork Brainstorm
    • ACT: Pasi works with Cody to get the dark "Xubuntu GTK theme" into Karmic alpha

    • ACT: Pasi to join ubuntu-devel ML and see what's going on with Usplash

    • IDEA: Disable services by default if user has little RAM?
      • Why not disable the services for everybody, if they are not necessarily needed
      • We want to offer a consistent user experience for all the users
      • The user can disable any services she wants to
      • IDEA: Checkbox at installation state (Advanced) to disable services by default?
    • Yves Dupont (ydupont) stepped up and asked if SLIM would be included to Xubuntu
      • Yves was willing to work on SLIM upstream
    • ACT: Steve investigates the dontzap/xklavier/xorg... stuff

    • Perhaps we all need to review the Strategy Document to find out where Xubuntu is supposed to be going?
