| At the moment, I'm a Year 12 student in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I've been using Linux since my father introduced me to Red Hat in mid-2000. I then switched to Slackware for a while, then Debian, and finally Ubuntu (in January 2005). I've not left Ubuntu since. On 2006/09/06 I became an Ubuntu Member, and on 2006/09/24 a ["MOTU"]. == Ubuntu Involvement == I've been fairly active in the Ubuntu community since I joined it in early 2005. My contributions include: * Starting the Ubuntu AustralianTeam. * Managing the web hosting for the AustralianTeam. * Regular bug triage throughout Malone. * Updating/correcting/beautifying pages on the Ubuntu Wiki. * Merging and requesting syncs during Edgy development. * Doing a lot of general MOTU work throughout the Feisty development cycle. === Ubuntu AustralianTeam === Around the release of Ubuntu 5.10, YukiCuss and I started the AustralianTeam. It consists at the moment of about 60 Australian Ubuntu users who wish to help spread the word, and is still growing.
