This is the home page for the New York State Ubuntu Local Community Team. The NYS team focuses on distributing, advertising, and demonstrating the Ubuntu OS within NYC/NYS. We work with all types of users including business, educational, and home users. We believe that through Ubuntu Linux and FLOSS we can change the face of computing in New York for the better.  The New York Team focuses on advocating and supporting the Ubuntu Linux OS within the state of New York. We will work with any user located in New York State. We believe that by bringing the freedom, power, and stability of Ubuntu Linux (and other WikiPedia:FOSS) to the public, we can change the face of computing in New York State for the better.
