• Kubuntu.de provides many updated packages for dapper/breezy (for instance lastest 0.8 kaffeine.) Maybe a nice proyect/idea could be to include a page in kubuntu.org of unofficial (but recognized, known to work with kubuntu, whatever you what to call it...) repositories for newer software packages (or maybe in [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KubuntuAdditionalRepositories here]), or integrate their efforts on the main unofficial packages provided by riddell. This would be nice for dapper users since it's going to be with us for a long time. This way there would be a central place to look for this updated packages/repositories. Probably this would have to coordinate with the backports proyect. - kmon.

• What packages are we looking to put on kubuntu.org, to be unofficially supported? -- Hobbsee

  • Kopete 0.12 for dapper
  • Kaffeine 0.8.x
  • Amarok 1.4.x (1.4 already done)
  • Koffice 1.5.x (1.5.1 already done)

• The current wiki pages for kubuntu are messy. Currently [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kubuntu this page] is a "throw every kubuntu related link in here" page. This needs lots of love. We should poke the documentation team/ wiki team or create a team for this. -- kmon
