I also help users in configuring and installing their systems (on IRC in #debian and #debian.de) and I help other packagers to improve their packages by sending them emails or (if they are no DD) by looking at their packages, so the DDs have less to complain about.

=== What are you doing in Ubuntu ? ===
I take care of my packages synced/merged from Debian, look at the bug reports, etc.
I also merge my packages from Debian if they have to be different in Ubuntu.

=== What do you think of the collaboration between Debian and Ubuntu ? ===
I think that both are wonderful projects and that we can learn much from each other, though, at the moment some seem to hate Ubuntu and ignore their patches.

=== Are there other projects/organizations you participate in ? ===
I am participating in a lot of other projects. I
 * translate Installers and Release Notes in the [http://seamonkey.at SeaMonkey German Translation Project]
 * Develop my own software or software where i continued the development, like
  * [http://launchpad.net/dcdmake/ dcdmake]
  * [https://launchpad.net/ndisgtk/ ndisgtk]
 * am a [https://www.fsfe.org/en/fellows/jak Fellow of the Free Software Foundation Europe]

I also help people packaging my software for Distributions other than Debian and Ubuntu and notify them about new releases (if they want to be notified).

=== What do you think of Free Software ? ===
I am a fellow of the Free Software Foundation Europe and I am working in several free software projects.

Although I am a free software developer and a FSFE Fellow, I am still forced to use some non-free software, but I can live with this, as long
it improves the number of peoples using free software. But If there is a working free alternative, I will use it.

=== What do you wish for the future, what will you be doing ? ===
There needs to be more collaboration between Debian and Ubuntu.
Because we can learn from each other, we can help each other making the packages and the systems better.

I will work on my packages and help others in Debian and Ubuntu. Hopefully I become a Debian Developer and maybe also a Ubuntu Member and Masters of the Universe
