General status:

• 0.6.3 indicator-sound released: Fast Forward/Rewind working nicely when you keep either previous or next pressed from either the mouse or keyboard, icons for playlist menu items are now fixed (Banshee is the client that exports icon names for now) and a new dbus method to complete the blacklist dbus api (to help clients adapt properly to the preferred behaviour outlined in the spec) and few other fixes (https://launchpad.net/indicator-sound/+milestone/0.6.3).

• A lot of bug fixing on dbusmenu and indicators
• Feature Freeze Exceptions:

  • Zeitgeist-0.7.0 (732551)

• Unity Place Applications received a lot of attention
  • Landing the Alt-F2 work by didrocks
  • Highly improved latency of searches
  • Improved relevancy ranking of searches
  • Showcasing random apps from Software Center
• Zeitgeist FTS Extension got a long waited fix extending the capabilities of the event filtering mechanism which was required in order to filter out applications from searches in the files place
• Dee ABI+API stability since 0.5.12 (released Monday) also with a range of new functionality to help optimize the Unity shell(s) and place daemons alike

QA

General status:

• Working with QA & HW Cert teams to gather GL driver support matrix

• First results from the HW cert team campaign with 10 representative configurations: 8/10 OK, 2 nvidia installation problems under investigations
