General status:

• Alpha-2 is in sight: 11.04 beta burn-down chart; the work items still need a good update.

• We missed Dash in this weeks release due to running into two major GLib bugs. We're working on fixing them and hope to make a Dash-enabled release on Monday.

• new compiz, bamf and libunity weekly releases
• more a11y enablement
• Compiz stacking issue 99% fixed, some minor issues remaining that are being worked on
• Compiz reparenting/gnome-panel/Flash plugin crashing issue fixed
• Dash slipped until Monday due to two critical GLib bugs. Upstream informed, we are working on fixing/working around.

Foundations

General status:

• New libunity Launcher item API (emblems, progress and quicklists)
• Soundmenu: Playlists have landed with support for both Rhythmbox and Banshee.
• Soundmenu: Spotify is supported.
• Dbusmenu: Moved the menu parser from appmenu-gtk to dbusmenu-gtk and removed it from libappindicator.
• Places daemons updated to work with new libunity.
• No upload of indicator-network this week.
