KitchenerWaterloo
The Kitchener-Waterloo Chapter of the Ubuntu Canada Team is dedicated to promoting Ubuntu in South Western Ontario.
We're heavily involved in the Kitchener-Waterloo Linux Users Group.
How to Join
The easiest way is to come out to one of our Ubuntu Canada events in KW.
You can sign up on Launchpad: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-waterloo-region. Join the mailing list there.
Alternatively, come out to a KWLUG meeting (first Monday of the month) and ask around for Ubuntu KW.
Ubuntu Hours
There are two Ubuntu Hours in Kitchener-Waterloo. No registration required, but you can if you want to on the Canadian Team Events page.
Ubuntu Hour Kitchener
Charles McColm hosts an Ubuntu Hour at Misty Mountain Cafe (33 Queen Street South). He'll have the usual complement of Ubuntu (32)/Kubuntu (32)/Ubuntu 64-bit server CDs.
Ubuntu Hour Waterloo
Ubuntu Happy Hour at the Welly! Or is it Happy Ubuntu Hour? The Duke of Wellington is a nice English style pub which happens to offer a wide selection of beverages, and occasionally live music.
